Please be advised the NT Fire and Rescue Service will be conducting controlled burns in the Leanyer area today.

The burning will take place throughout the day between the sewage ponds and Vanderlin Drive in Leanyer.

Patrick Skewes from NTFRS advises drivers to take care when travelling in the area today as smoke may limit vision in some areas.
