Comfit issued of robbery offender – Alice Springs

Police have issued a Comfit of a man involved in a robbery in Alice Springs last week.

The man was one of three offenders who allegedly chased a 28-year-old man down Gregory Terrace and into Leichhardt Terrace before robbing him. The victim told police he noticed three men following him in the early hours of Thursday morning December 16. He ran to get away from them but they followed him and caught up with him in Leichhardt Terrace. The men then surrounded him and took his wallet and mobile phone. They took the cash from his wallet before throwing it on the ground and leaving and warned the victim not to follow them.

The victim reported the incident to police and assisted with the development of a Comfit of one of the offenders. The men are described as being of African appearance, with one of the offenders having lines of scarification on his forehead.

The man in the Comfit is approximately 185 cm tall and of athletic build. He was wearing blue jeans with a white button -up long -sleeved shirt with a dark singlet top underneath. He had a clean-shaven head. The second man was wearing a dark long-sleeved shirt with light-coloured graphics on it and dark blue jeans. He was approximately 185cm tall with a slim build and a clean-shaven head. The third man was approximately 175cm tall and was wearing a red t-shirt on his head and a dark singlet and dark shorts.
