At approximately 6:30 am (14 February) police received reports of an assault that had occurred between a group of people.
A 21-year-old male victim was taken to Alice Springs Hospital having sustained a stab wound to the chest, a large laceration to the throat and multiple head wounds.
He has since been medivaced to the Royal Adelaide Hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
The two men aged 41 and 26 have been charged with attempted murder and have both been remanded in custody to appear in the Alice Springs Court today.
