Causeways in Alice Springs have been re-opened this morning.

Tuncks Road Causeway and Schwarz Crescent Causeways were closed to traffic around 11pm last night after the Todd River began flowing.

Both causeways were re-opened this morning as water in the Todd River began to subside.

Police will continue to monitor the situation throughout the day.
