NT Police have located the owner of a green bicycle that was subject to a public appeal in the wake of the Leanyer unit fire on Sunday 13 June that led to the death of eight year old Nicholas Middis.

The owner is not a person of interest in the investigation.

Major Crime Squad Detective Senior Sergeant Scott Pollock has thanked members of the public who responded to last Friday's letter box drop in the Leanyer area and advertising in the Sunday Territorian.
