Assault - Alice Springs

Police

Alice Springs Police are calling for public assistance after a man was assaulted in the town early this morning.

A member of the public located the 21-year-old man lying in the middle of the intersection of Bath Street and Stott Terrace at about 3:00 am this morning with head injuries.

Saint John Ambulance attended the scene and conveyed the man to Alice Springs Hospital.

Police are currently viewing CCTV footage of the area and are extremely interested in speaking with a group of males travelling in a maroon coloured Falcon sedan who were sighted in the vicinity when the assault occurred.
