Police have arrested two people in relation to an unlawful entry at an Alice Springs hotel last week.

Police allege that sometime between 11pm on December 27 and 3am the following morning a group of offenders the offenders broke into the Heavitree Gap Hotel and stole a quantity of alcohol.

Investigations by members of the Property Crime Reduction Unit led to the arrest of two males, aged 21 and 15, yesterday. They have both been charged with unlawful entry, stealing and criminal damage.

The 15-year-old was remanded in custody to appear in the Alice Springs Youth Justice Court today while the 21-year-old has been bailed to appear in court at a later date.

Police investigations are continuing with further arrests expected.
