Arrest - unlawful entry and stealing

Members from the Commanders Tactical Team arrested three youths yesterday in relation to a number of unlawful entry and stealing incidents over the weekend.

It is alleged two 14-year-old girls and a 13-year-old boy were involved in the theft of a golf buggy with an estimated value of $17 000 at about 11: pm on Sunday. The youths allegedly removed the vehicle from Darwin Golf Course before pushing it to Malak where it was later located upturned on Patterson Street.

The offenders are then alleged to have walked to TIO stadium before entering an unsecured office and removing a quantity of cash, clothing, AFL corporate tickets, keys and an I Phone.

As a result of police investigations the two girls will be subject to Youth Diversion and the 13 year old boy will be summonsed at a later date for unlawful entry and unlawful use of motor vehicle offences.
