A 59-year-old man will face court after police seized more than 733 grams of Cannabis.

The man was arrested at a truck stop off the Arnhem Highway near Mamukala Lookout just before 9pm last night after he allegedly threw a large bag containing Cannabis from his vehicle as police approached.

A search of the scrub found 21 separate bags containing 733.6 grams of Cannabis with an estimated street value of more than $100,000.

The man was taken to Jabiru Police Station and charged with possession and supply of a commercial quantity of Cannabis. He has been bailed to appear in the Darwin Magistrates Court on Monday, August 9.
