Arrest for drugs –Alice Springs

A 38-year-old man will face court after police found instructions and implements for the manufacture of Methylamphetamine at his house.

Members of the Drug Intelligence Unit and detectives from the Regional Investigations Division executed a search warrant on a unit at Cycad Place just after 7am today. They located instructions for the manufacture of Methylamphetamine and a flask, condenser and glass elbow commonly used in the drug's manufacture.

He was arrested and charged with possessing articles to manufacture a drug and possessing instructions to manufacture a drug.

He has been bailed to appear in the Alice Springs Magistrates Court on July 15.
