Members from the Darwin Investigations Unit are expected to lay further charges against a 35-year-old man after child abuse material was located at his home.

Police conducted a search warrant of the Winnellie residence at about 3:00pm yesterday resulting in the seizure a number of storage devices and a standalone computer.

The man is on bail on previous charges including procure a child under the age of 16 and indecent assault and is due to appear in court on 1 June.

He made full admissions in relation to locating and storing child abuse material from the internet and will be summonsed in relation to the offences.
