Armed robbery - Berrimah

NT Police are calling for public assistance after an armed robbery at a Subway store in Berrimah this morning.

Police received the report at approximately 10.45 am after a female attended the Subway store and threatened staff members with a knife. Staff handed over a quantity of money and the alleged offender then fled the store.

The woman is described as having dark brown hair with a flower in it and was wearing a maroon top, brown shorts and blue thongs.

It is alleged the woman removed her top, which exposed a black bikini top, as she ran to a waiting vehicle. She was last seen getting into a maroon Mitsubishi Magna which exited onto Vanderlin Drive.

Police urge anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have any information to contact them on 131 444 or on Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
