Police are appealing for information from the public in relation to an incident that occurred in the early hours of Saturday morning.

At approximately 3.50am on Saturday 13th March 2010, a 35 year old male patron of the Arch Rivals Tavern was allegedly punched by another male patron out the front of the premise and kicked to the head area whilst on the ground.

The male sustained head injuries and was conveyed by St John Ambulance to Royal Darwin Hospital where he remains in a stable condition. It is expected that the male will be released from hospital later today.

Police are seeking any information from the public who may have witnessed the incident or have any other relevant information.
