It is alleged that at approximately 9:00am, the 35-year-old male returned to his residence to find a side gate and side door had been opened. Whilst conducting a search of his premises, the male encountered the offender who allegedly struck him to the head with a hammer.

The offender is being described as a Caucasian male, 175cm in height, medium build with a small but prominent gut. He has brown receding hair to the bottom of his neck and appears to be about 40-45 years of age with a distinctly pale face.
