Two male youths aged 14 and 15 will appear in the Katherine Youth Court today in relation to an alleged armed robbery that occurred in Kununurra, Western Australia on 2 December this year.

It is alleged the youths held a male and threatened him with a spear gun before taking his cash, car keys and his vehicle, a Nissan Patrol station wagon. The youths then drove the vehicle to Katherine which was later recovered by police in a residential area of the town.

An 11-year-old male who was also arrested was later released without charge.

Kununurra Detectives will be seeking the extradition of the two youths to Western Australia in the Katherine Court today.
