Vehicles interfered with – Alice Springs

Members of the Property Crime Reduction Unit are appealing to the public after a number of vehicle interferences in Alice Springs.

Police are investigating vehicle interferences on the North Stuart Highway where offenders have targeted car yards and parking lots.

Acting Sergeant Janelle Snigg said police are appealing to members of the public who may have been offered cheap car parts to contact them.

"We've informed businesses in the area that unknown offender/s are targeting car yards and parking lots," said A/Sgt Snigg

"There has been a number of car yards and parking lots targeted by offenders where spotlights, stereos and mag wheels have been stolen.

"We encourage members of the public who may have been approached and offered to buy these car parts to contact police and let us know."
