Police are investigating a three vehicle crash that occurred on Saturday night.

At about 7:10 pm Police, Fire and Rescue and Saint John Ambulance personnel attended a vehicle crash the intersection of Pioneer Drive and Cavalcade Road in Humpty Doo.

It appears two vehicles were travelling out bound on Pioneer Drive when a 29-year-old female driving a Mazda RX4 struck the rear end of a Toyota Corolla stopped at the intersection.

As a result both vehicles spun into the pathway of a Holden Captiva travelling inbound on Pioneer Road causing them to collide.

The 41-year-old female driver of the Toyota Corolla and driver of the Mazda RX4 where conveyed to RDH for treatment where they both remain in a stable condition.

Police are conducting further investigation into the crash.
