Police are investigating an unlawful entry that occurred in Woolner early this morning.

It is believed that some time between the hours of 10:00 pm last night and 3:00 am, a residence on Villaflor Crescent was unlawfully entered.

A number of items including two mobile phones, a portable hand held game, an item of jewellery and a sum of money were stolen from the residence as the home owner slept.

Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the event to contact them on 131 444.
