A 33-year-old man has been arrested by members of the Commander's Tactical Team in relation to an unlawful entry at Wisdom Bar and Cafe on Mitchell Street that occurred on Monday morning.

The arrest occurred after a 24-hour police operation that also saw the recovery of over $50 000 of the stolen cash.

The man was remanded in custody and will appear in the Darwin Magistrate's Court today facing unlawful entry, damage and stealing offences.
