Police are investigating the theft of a small quantity of cash and alcohol from the Nightcliff Sports Club.

The theft occurred just after 2.00 am this morning. Forced entry was gained through the front door and a tip jar, Guide Dog container and five bottles of alcohol was removed from the premises.

The first offender is described as 175 cm tall, thin build, light brown complexion, wearing grey knee length cargo pants with a black belt, black t-shirt and white shoes with black on rear and side of shoes. The second offender is described as 170 cm tall thin build, light brown complexion, wearing denim 3/4 pants, aqua colour t-shirt and white shoes with a red stripe down the side.

Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the alleged offenders, or any suspicious activity in this vicinity, to call 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
