Members of the Commander's Tactical Team are investigating an unlawful entry that occurred sometime during the afternoon and evening of Tuesday 3 November at a residence in Wells Street, Ludmilla.

The 78-year-old male resident returned to his home around 8.30 pm that night and found that the front gate lock had been cut and the locked office located under the house had been broken into and a large quantity of cash stolen.

Anyone who may have been in the Wells Street area on the afternoon and evening of Tuesday 3 November, and saw any suspicious persons or activity, is urged to call police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or at http://www.nt.crimestoppers.com.au/.
