Members of the Commander's Tactical Team are investigating the unlawful entry and stealing offence that occurred at the Humpty Doo Hotel last night.

It is alleged that between 10:00 pm last night and 6:30 am this morning, offender/s gained entry by using bolt cutters to make their way through a window.

The offender/s then entered the premises, located a safe and proceeded to remove a large sum of cash before fleeing the area.

It is believed that around $3 500 worth of the stolen cash was in dollar coins.
