Police are investigating an unlawful entry in Humpty Doo which occurred in the early hours of yesterday morning.
Police received a report just before 2.30am that security alarms had been activated at the United Petroleum service station. When police arrived they found offenders had jimmied open a roller door to gain access to the premises. CCTV footage shows a male offender jumping the counter and rifling through the terminal area. He then flees taking around $1000 worth of cigarettes and a Guide Dog charity box with him.
The offender is described as being a Caucasian male in his mid 20s with a solid build and short dark hair.
Police have released the CCTV footage and are asking anyone who recognizes the offender to phone Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
