Police are investigating an unlawful entry that occurred in Fannie Bay early this morning.

It is alleged that at 4:00 am a male staff member attended the Fannie Bay Race Course, locating four male youths in the bar area.

It is believed that they stole a quantity of alcohol before being disturbed and fleeing the area.

Police were called to the scene where it was established that the youths had gained entry by smashing two glass panels, causing approximately $750 worth of damage.

Investigations are continuing and police are urging anyone who may have information in relation to this incident, to contact them on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
