Police have apprehended two males aged 16 and 19 in relation to the unlawful entry of a residence in Don Circuit last week.

It is believed that the offenders entered a display home in Durack between the hours of 9:00 pm Wednesday night (08 July) and 7:45 am Thursday morning and damaged the property by throwing paint and other liquids throughout the house and pool area.

A flat screen television was also stolen from the residence.

After police investigations the two were arrested and taken to Darwin Police station where they were interviewed.

The 19-year-old male is to be summonsed to appear in court at a later date and the 16-year-old is to be considered for Youth Diversion.
