Members of the Property Crime Reduction Unit have apprehended four boys believed responsible for the unlawful entry and criminal damage of a school in Alice Springs last week.

Police conducted interviews with the boys, who admitted their involvement in the unlawful entry and criminal damage at the Araluen Christian College on Sunday August 2.

It is estimated more than $12,000 worth of damage was done to two of the classrooms.

The boys aged between 9 and 11-years-old will be referred to Youth Diversion.
