Police are investigating the unlawful entry of two restaurants in Alice Springs overnight.

Police received a report at 6.30 this morning that an unknown person had broken into the Fan Arcade on the Todd Mall last night.

It appears once inside the arcade the offender has then broken into the Thai Room Restaurant and Bar Doppio Cafe.

The offender has forced his way into the Thai Room restaurant and stolen a dozen bottles of liquor from the cool room and then smashed the front door of Bar Doppio's Cafe.

Nothing else appears to have been stolen from the premises.
