Unlawful entry– Alice Springs

Police said the occupants of the Lyndavale Drive residence had gone out for an hour between 6pm and 7pm on Sunday when the incident occurred. They returned home to find their unit had been unlawfully entered.

Police attended and found a section of security screen had been cut out with bolt-cutters. The offenders then entered the premises and stole a number of items including a Nokia mobile phone and a quantity of cash. Among the cash was approximately $1200 in 50 cent coins.

Police and forensic crews attended and police are appealing to anyone in the area who may have noticed any suspicious activity to come forward. Anyone with information should phone 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
