Police are investigating several reports of unlawful entries that occurred overnight in Darwin and surrounding suburbs.

Businesses and residential addresses in Darwin City, Rapid Creek and Coconut Grove reported unlawful entries, including several attempted unlawful entries, between 9:00 pm last night and 8:00 am this morning.

Homes in Rapid Creek on Ryland Road, Clarke Crescent, Reed Place and Rossiter Street were targeted as well as Sovereign Circuit and Easther Crescent in Coconut Grove.

A 14-year-old female and a 17-year-old male are currently in police custody assisting with enquiries.

Police are urging anyone that may have seen any suspicious activity around these areas, or who may have any information in relation to these events, to contact them on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
