A 28-year-old male and an 18-year-old female will be summonsed in relation to an incident that occurred on 1 January 2009.

At approximately 8:45 am the offenders were consuming alcohol with a group of people in their room at the Marrakai Apartments. The group was asked to leave by a staff member due to the fact that they were causing a disturbance.

Prior to leaving the premises the two offenders caused damage to two fire doors and an exit roller door in the basement estimated to the value of about $6298.61.

The female offender then returned to the reception foyer and assaulted the 47-year-old female staff member by pushing her in the back.

Both offenders will be summonsed to appear in Darwin Magistrate's Court at a later date to face unlawfully damage property and assault a person offences.
