Three men aged 18, 18 and 22 have been charged in relation to the assault and robbery of a taxi driver that occurred about 2.30 am on Tuesday 3 February.

They have been charged with aggravated robbery, aggravated assault and stealing. The 22-year-old man was remanded in custody to appear in the Darwin Magistrate's Court today and the two 18-year-old males were bailed to appear in the Darwin Magistrate's Court on March 3.

Investigations are continuing to locate co-offenders.
