Police have released the name of a man who died following an assault in Bloomfield Street, Alice Springs last night.

The victim was 37-year-old Edward Charles Hargrave, of Alice Springs.

Police have also released a photo of Mr Hargrave.

Investigations into the death are continuing and police are appealing for anyone with information concerning the incident to come forward.
