A 39-year-old Wulagi woman is to be summonsed to appear in the Darwin Magistrate's Court in relation to the theft of more than $12 000 from a Tiwi business that occurred on 30 August this year.

Police allege that the woman, who was a supervisor at the business, let herself into the premises after the business closed for the evening and removed the cash from a safe.

Investigations resulted in Casuarina detectives recovering the money in the woman's home.
