Stolen Motor vehicles

Police received several reports yesterday of motor vehicles that have been stolen within the last week.

An AVIS rental vehicle, a white Hyundai Getz hatch registration number 912-836, has been hired out since January and has since been reported stolen.

On 5 May, a blue 1999 model Ford Utility, registration number 746-618 was left on Marrakai Road near Lake Bennett.

The owner returned 10 May however the car had been stolen.

A trail bike was stolen from a residence on Kriewaldt Crescent in Driver on Sunday.

It is described as having yellow tanks, a green air filter and a flat tyre.

A 2005 white Toyota Camry Altise, registration number 771-915, was stolen yesterday between 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm from the Coles car park in Palmerston.

Territory Duty Superintendent Rob Farmer said that it is a timely reminder for people to lock their homes and vehicles and ensure that they secure their car keys and other valuables.
