It is alleged that between 5 and 7 September, the male entered Coles Northlakes and Karama several times, each time filling up bags with meat to the value of approximately $300 and then exiting the store without paying.
At one point the male was approached by a male staff member in Northlakes and the offender subsequently dropped the items and fled the scene on foot.
On 14 September the 33-year-old entered Woolworths in Casuarina and again left the store without paying for a bag full of meat.
On 3 November CTT members located and arrested the male at a residence in Karama.
He has since been charged with steal property from a shop (x4) and was bailed to appear in the Darwin Magistrate's Court on 24 November.
