Police have apprehended three males aged 35, 38 and 41 in relation to a pursuit that occurred in Alice Springs over night.
It is alleged that at approximately 9:00 pm last night police attempted to stop the driver of a white Holden Commodore on Railway Terrace after members witnessed him fail to stop at a stop sign.
Members initiated lights and sirens however the driver refused to stop and continued driving along the Stuart Highway at speed.
The vehicle travelled through several streets before re-entering the North Stuart Highway on the wrong side of the road, colliding with an oncoming vehicle.
The three males were thrown from the vehicle upon impact.
St John Ambulance members attended and conveyed all three to Alice Springs Hospital for treatment.
No one in the other vehicle was injured in the crash.
