As a result of Information provided by a member of the public, an arrest was made on New Year's Day by Members from the Commander's Tactical Team.

Around 11.45 pm, it is alleged a 23-year-old male stole a set of car keys from a hotel room and drove off in a Ford Sedan to Coolalinga Caravan Park.

The vehicle was located in the long grass and the offender was arrested. He has been charged with:

Unlawfully use a motor vehicle

Drive a motor vehicle while unlicenced

The man was bailed to appear in the Darwin Magistrate's Court on the 27th of January 2009.
