New recruits – Alice Springs

Police

Twelve new recruits will start their careers as constables for the Northern Territory Police Force in Alice Springs today.

After six months of intensive training the graduates from Squad 98 now look forward to starting work at the Alice Springs Police Station.

Superintendent Sean Parnell said the new recruits were a welcome addition to the station.

"These constables represent the standards expected of all police officers including honesty, integrity and dedication to servicing the community.

"It is expected they will make a valuable contribution to the Alice Springs Community and will enable police to continue some of the proactive policing work that is being undertaken."
