Murder – Alice Springs – Update 4 - 4340586

Major Crime Detectives are calling on assistance from the community to identify one of the five men believed to be linked to the murder of a 33-year-old man in Alice Springs on Saturday.

A comfit has been released following information received from witnesses.

The man is aged in his late teens or early 20s with dark blonde/light brown hair, approximately 170cms tall and of medium build. (refer to comfit)

Witnesses have told police a second man is believed to be approximately 19-years-old with short dark hair and of a slim build.

Detective Senior Sergeant Lauren Hill said someone must recognise this individual.

"We have received some excellent information so far from the community but it is hoped this comfit will bring forward a name," Senior Sergeant Hill said.

In addition, the family of the 33-year-old deceased male have agreed to release his name and a photograph. He is Donny Ryder from Alice Springs.

"On behalf of Northern Territory Police, I would like to take this opportunity to express my deepest condolences to the family and friends of Mr Ryder.

"We will continue to do everything we can to investigate this matter and find those responsible."
