A 29-year-old woman who went missing from her campsite at the Bark Hut Inn overnight has been found safe and well.

Police conducted an air and ground search today after friends of the woman raised the alarm.

Police had concerns for the woman's welfare who walked away from her campsite in the early hours of the morning.

It appears the woman became disorientate and lost her way. Police found the woman in the area with no injuries but dehydrated.

The woman has been taken to the Royal Darwin Hospital for observation.
