Police have arrested two males aged 22 and 24 in relation to the indecent assault that occurred in Darwin City early Wednesday morning.

It is alleged that two female victims aged 24 and 25 parked their car on Kitchener Drive on Tuesday and went to sleep, however were later awoken at 5:00 am the following morning and indecently assaulted as two males entered the vehicle.

The offenders fled the scene towards Dinah Beach in a white Nissan Navara.

Investigators followed up on leads, subsequently locating the two male offenders in Stuart Park yesterday.

The 24-year-old male was charged with indecent assault and interfere with a motor vehicle and was bailed to appear in the Darwin Magistrate's Court 10 September.

The 22-year-old male is to be summonsed to appear at a later date.
