Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident in Larapinta in which a 12-year-old girl was indecently assaulted in Alice Springs.
The victim told police she had just got off a bus on Larapinta Drive near the corner of Battarbee Street around 3.15pm on Tuesday when she was approached by three young boys on bicycles. As they rode past her the girl was indecently assaulted.
The offenders are described as being of Aboriginal appearance and aged between nine and 14. One was wearing a yellow tee-shirt while another had bleached blonde hair. The girl was unable to describe the third boy.
Police are appealing to anyone who recognizes the description of the boys or who may have been in the area where the offence took place on Tuesday afternoon to come forward.
