A 41-year-old male is to appear in court in relation to an indecent assault upon a 5-year-old female.

The incidents are believed to have occurred between 1 November and 17 December 2008.

He has been charged with:

Gross indecency against a child under 10 years (x2)
Assault - indecent dealings with a child under 16 years
Aggravated assault.

He was bailed to appear in the Alice Springs Court on 19 February.

Further enquiries into the incident are continuing.
