Major Crime Detectives extradited a 43-year-old male from Melbourne yesterday.

It is alleged that the man was involved in the crash that occurred on McMillans Road outside the Airport Hotel on 21 October, in which a 30-year-old male was killed.

Victoria Police arrested the male on Tuesday.

NT Police applied for extradition in the Warrnambool Magistrate's Court on Thursday (26 November) and he was subsequently flown to Darwin last night.

He has been charged with hit and run and driving a motor vehicle causing death and remanded in custody to appear in the Darwin Magistrate's Court on Monday 30 November.
