Police are investigating the death of a male involved in an aircraft crash that occurred at approximately 5:30 pm yesterday at the Mary River Station near Pine Creek.

Police from Pine Creek, Katherine and health clinic members attended the airstrip, locating the male deceased at the scene.

The scene was maintained by members overnight and further investigations are to continue today to determine the exact circumstances of the crash.
