Police

Police are looking for two males aged 18 and 20 that escaped from a minimum security work party at approximately 1:50 pm today.

The group was doing community work at the Water Gardens in Jingili when they left the designated work group.

They are both described to be of aboriginal appearance between 174 - 180 cm's tall, slim build, short dark hair and at the time were wearing green t-shirts, dark blue shorts and work boots.

Territory Duty Superintendent Mike Murphy said "These men were last seen at 4.30 pm in the area of Dick Ward Drive near Fitzer Road.

"Whilst the men escaped from a minimum security work party, we have a number of resources dedicated to this task and are urging members of the public to contact police on 131 444 immediately if they are sighted" he said.
