Members of the Drug Enforcement Section have apprehended a 36-year-old male in relation to drugs found in a vehicle in Palmerston.
Police conducted a search of a vehicle in the Palmerston Shopping Centre car park yesterday, subsequently locating 287 grams of cannabis and approximately $15 000 worth of cash.
The 36-year-old male was arrested and conveyed to the Darwin Watch House and has since been charged with:
Possess a dangerous drug
Possess cannabis - trafficable quantity
Unlawfully supply cannabis to another
Receiving tainted property.
He has been bailed to appear in the Darwin Magistrate's Court 18 June.
