Police have arrested two males, aged 25 and 46, after locating drugs in a vehicle they were travelling in along the Stuart Highway yesterday.

At approximately 9:30 pm last night police pulled over the driver of a Toyota Camry sedan at Erldunda Roadhouse.

After searching the vehicle police located and seized two cryovaced packages of cannabis weighing approximately 380 grams.

The men were taken to Alice Springs watchhouse and have since been charged.

The 46 year-old man has been charged with possession and supply of a trafficable quantity of cannabis. He has been remanded in custody and will appear in the Alice Springs Magistrates Court today.

A 25 year-old male was released without charge.
