Oenpelli Police executed a search warrant at a house in the community on Friday 30 October.

At the time of the search a total of six males were present. A search of the premises located a total of 129 grams of cannabis and $6 110 in cash along with a Mitsubishi 4WD utility which was seized as tainted property.

Five of the males were arrested and conveyed to the Oenpelli Police Station with four later being released without charge.

A 22-year-old male has been charged with possess dangerous drug in a public place and bailed to appear in the Darwin Magistrate's Court on 23 November.

The cannabis has an approximate street value of $12 900.
