At about 5.50am yesterday the man driving a white Ford station wagon was pulled over on Katherine Terrace as part of a random stop.

A drug detector dog was deployed on the vehicle and provided a response to the boot of the car. A total of approximately 87 grams of cannabis made up into 1.1 gram small clip seal bags was located and seized.

The man was arrested and charged in relation to the following offences:
Unlawfully supply cannabis
Possess a trafficable quantity of cannabis

He is due to appear in Katherine Court on 29 June.
